I had no idea all the issues I had with my swing. I’ve been playing golf for over 40 years, and I’d never had a lesson. Doug started with the top of my backswing then the distance from the ball and then my grip. It started out like the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever done. I went to the range again a few days later and tried to work on it one issue at a time. It wasn’t pretty but whenever I made good contact the ball didn’t veer more than a few yards off my target. I hope I can dial it in before the end of the summer because there are some guys that I feel owe me some money. I hope Doug and I can work again soon.
Doug was a fantastic instructor with a great attitude, and great instructional demeanor, and my Mom and I are so happy to have found him. He provides the perfect balance of fun, encouragement, and manageable corrections, and his pacing for the lesson was perfect.
Doug gave me one simple swing change, and my shots went from worm-burners to high fliers instantly! I highly recommend him.

Doug is great to work with. He improved my grip, stance and backswing. Had me striking the ball much more consistent in just one lesson.

I just wanted to thank you for yesterday's lesson. I really enjoyed our time together, and I feel like I learned a lot in quite a short time! Just changing my grip and seeing the results was incredible to me! If I looked like an idiot with my constant grinning, I promise you I'm not. It was just a lot of fun putting your teaching into practice.
Wow! Doug had me striking the ball better within the first minute. Everything he showed me was so simple but effective. I would definitely recommend Doug to anyone and look forward to my next lesson.

As a new golfer I was in need of some real help, and Doug was able to have me hitting it strong and straight by the end of my first lesson...even with my clubs from the 1960s! I really appreciated his physics based approach, showing how there is no magic to golf you just need to be in a position to strike it square.
